Rabobank is one of the biggest banks in the Netherlands with 9.1 million customers, many of whom want to onboard digitally.
With Rabobank's previous process, new customers had to transfer 1 cent from an existing bank account and provide a copy of an identity document.
This was a highly error-prone process, with around 50% of applications using this method failing.
With the implementation of ReadID, Rabobank grew its online onboarding channel from 35% to 60% and received positive feedback from its users on the new and improved onboarding process.
