Inverid's ReadID solution now also complies with applicable requirements of the ETSI 119 461 standard for unattended remote identity proofing at the highest assurance level. We have also successfully renewed our eIDAS (module) certification for ReadID, expanding our certification package.
ETSI 119 461 provides the foundation for qualified trust service provision across Europe. The certification outlines the requirements for starting an identity proofing process, gathering attributes, verifying them, connecting them to the application, and issuing the digital identity proofing results. It is also expected to influence and be a foundation to other industry regulations, such as those for anti-money laundering or terrorist financing in the financial sector.
Furthermore, this certification is a prelude for ReadID to serve the European Digital Identity wallet market under the new eIDAS2.0 regulation. The ETSI requirements set out minimum technical specifications, standards and procedures with respect to the verification of identity and attributes in accordance with that regulation.
This new certification extends the already industry unique combination of security certifications for our NFC-based identity verification technology ReadID. Both customers and users of ReadID trust Inverid with very security and privacy sensitive information, and thus we has the responsibility to not only be secure, but also to prove that we are secure.
Besides the baseline ISO27001 certification we have four additional certifications: ISO/IEC 27701 for Privacy Management, eIDAS module for Qualified Trust Service Providers (digital signatures), and eIDAS electronic identification (eID) at assurance level High, as well as SOC2 type II certification.
