Inverid has again joined the list of cloud computing service providers available in the Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud 13 digital marketplace, providing all departments of the UK Government with the ability to purchase ReadID remote identity verification software. Inverid has been a G-Cloud partner ever since G-Cloud 10 in 2018.
The G-Cloud initiative was created by the Crown Commercial Service to facilitate and encourage the use of cloud computing technologies and services across all areas of the UK Government. It contains a list of approved suppliers of scalable services, pay-as-you-go cloud services, and cloud-based computing services. Inverid has been selected as a cloud-based software provider for our remote identity verification technology ReadID, which can be used on practically any modern smartphone and with any electronic identity document.
"G-Cloud 13 is a great channel to showcase our identity verification solution to the UK community. Our participation in GDS One Login and in GIDV clearly shows the relevance of G-Cloud." - Inverid co-founder Wil Janssen
Inverid is delighted to be a part of the framework built by the Crown Commercial Service, and looks forward to further collaboration with the UK government and it's various departments. Our remote identity verification software exploits the capabilities of NFC technology to provide instant, trustworthy, and highly secure identity verification for industries and organisations across the UK and the world, including the UK Home Office.
Inverid in partnership with iProov and Entrust, for example, was selected for the UK Home Office's Generic Identity Verification (GIDV) tender, allowing them to expand the digitisation of the UK's immigration application process. The solution enables a seamless way for travellers coming to the UK to be identified via their facial biometrics and electronic passport, bringing a more secure border control procedure and speeding up identity and border checks.
